John Wynn looks to his left whilst my flash points to his right. He reminds me of a news hack from the 50s, or something. Quite apt considering today's big story.
It's great news; as most Brits here will know, the gutter press lost one of its own as the News Of The World today confirmed that its last edition will be printed this Sunday. Pretty historic considering the paper has been around for over 150 years and is Britain's biggest selling newspaper.
Those involved in this scandal should be thoroughly ashamed with themselves. Unfortunately I don't think other tabloids are necessarily free of guilt, as they were suspiciously quiet for a long while whilst this story rumbled on.
Praise must go to The Guardian though, who persevered with the phone hacking investigation for two years when no other British newspaper would. Proof that there is some good investigative journalism out there for righteous causes, not just for gossip and celebrity scandal.
Oh, and in other breaking news: I cycled to work today for the first time and fell off my bike, badly grazing my knee. It's still bleeding now!

Heard that 2 days ago, "Sun on Sunday" and "Sunday Sun" were registered... Hmmm... Doubt News Int will be out of the sunday rag top trade for long... Just can't believe that woman's still in a job!
