The Cure

This is my favorite plant. It's called 'Indian Borage.' Maybe some of you call it 'oregano.' Here in Cambodia, they consider it as a type of mint (which I have to disagree is not at all mint). This is my inexpensive and effective cure to colds. I just boil the leaves and drink it like tea.

nice shot! yeah, we call it Oregano here in the Philippines...we also use it as cough remedy and a main ingredient for a local sausage delicacy...

@csandrey Hi kababayan! :) I know! That's what I called it at first and then the Cambodians told me it's mint, haha! Di na ako nakipag-argue. Ni-research ko na lang -- Indian Borage daw siya. :)

My favorite herb for cooking is Greek oregano, but it looks very different from this so it may not be related.

@eudora I believe they are related. It smells nearly similar, although a friend made a comment on how it smells more like dill. :)
