Meet two very special people in my life, my sister Andree (AKA Bert - thats another story), and her beautiful daughter Lilli (AKA Groover)
Tonight it was Bert's surprise 40th birthday party. So whilst she's spent the last few years laughing at my walking frame, high chair and operations for my old mans hips, now its her turn shortly :) I've saved all the business cards for her. Welcome to the over 40 club Bert.
Anyway, I hobbled around on crutches and looked like a major geek with my camera and new flash strapped around my neck, blinding everybody in sight who was game enough to venture near me.
Happy Birthday Bert, love you to bits. It was my first time flashing (with a camera) at night, and this was my favorite picture of the night, Bert & The Groover.
By the way, "Bert & The Groover" would be a great name for a band/album.
