Let me tell you a story.
I went for a lovely cycle ride with my husband. We stopped for yummy tea and cake. We stopped on the way back for a couple of photo opportunities. Very close to home we stopped again. On re mounting my bike I fell off. Don’t ask me how or why. My husband laughed and I almost cried. I felt sick and rode home one handed. The pain did not subside and the swelling started. Time to use some ice! Eventually visit the local Emergency department. X-ray confirmed a break by the wrist. Arm now in plaster and taking pain killers. It happens to be my right dominant arm so may not be taking daily photos. THE END
Oh no! That's terrible. I bet you weren't expecting to tell that story today. I'm sure you can milk the tlc especially after your husband laughed - I expect he ended up being your knight in shining armour when he realised what had happened! Hopefully it will heal quickly and be a happy ever after tale! 🌻
Oh no!!! speedy recovery. Love your tree branch in the background. ( That is my other hobby, I like making "art" from natures waste, such as fallen palm leaves, tree branches etc.)
Wishing you a quick recovery and prayers for a well healed wrist! I'd be unhappy about it too. Maybe you can use the rest. =) You'll be taking pics soon.
Awwww so sorry to hear this 😢 Last time I took a bike ride with my boys, I fell off too and filled my knee with so much gravel, it took days to get it all out and 3 years on I still have a scar! So I heartily sympathise and wish your broken bone good thorough healing and send you lots of love ❤️
@dutchothotmailcom thank you. This is my button tree. It featured on 14th July. It is dried sea cabbage and I change the buttons as the seasons change.
Oh no, so easily done. When I fractured my wrist a few years ago, I got so good at taking photos one handed. Luckily I use both hands equally. Wishing you a speedy recovery. No housework for you for a while. If you play your cards right you may be able to milk that one for quite a while.
I hate to hear of your misfortune. I hope you'll keep that hand elevated and the swelling and pain subside and the bone knits good as new. I was thinking a tripod might be helpful should you wish to continue daily photos.
Oh no! Dangerous things, bikes! I managed to break my wrist a few years ago, but did a better job than you, needed metal work in mine!
Hope it’s not too painful for too long 🤕
Time to slow down and relax
