Storm Barra & High tide
The sea wall is in front of the benches and the area behind is car park. Webbed feet or wellies needed to enter the pub.

Just a tad soggy! We were under flood threat at High Tide in Scarborough with Storm Arwen. Hope you are warm and dry and toasty again now!

My word. One needs to be desperate for whatever they serve at this pub to make the trip! Terrific capture. Were you in the water too?

I was so interested in this that I looked up the floods and Storm Barra.

Whew! A good shot of the water and stormy sky. The coastal areas take the brunt of these storms at high tide. I assume that the inn as well as other buildings close to the water had some protection in place to prevent flooding in the buildings.

Excellent capture, it was bad enough here in the Midlands, so it's hard to imagine how it was on the coast.
