Steller's Jay

Today is Cellophane Tape Day. I was going to take a pic of my tape face but I decided to spare you that. Instead, here is a bird that I saw around Lake Tahoe. I was kind of in a bad spot...glad I didn't get pooped on!

Wow! Really pretty bird. What kind is it? Glad your camera didn't get pooped on. Last week, we were eating breakfast on our patio, and a bird in the tree above us pooped in Gene's coffee. Two days later, again at breakfast, the bird pooped on the top of my head. I moved the table, so hopefully we are out of the line of fire. Leah

@shepardx2 Something I read said it is called a Steller's Jay. I kept seeing this bird all over Lake Tahoe.
