Inside St Martins in the fields church in Trafalgar Square in London. Absolutely gorgeous inside and I'm a sucker for Churches. This Pianist was playing a beautiful recital.
That is beautiful Paul. I have been past St Martins in the field hundreds of time but never ventured inside. I will definitely be paying a visit now. Thank you for this shot.
beautiful capture of that interior and the lone pianist - do you remember all the debate about that window when it went in, a few yeas ago, as part of the reordering of the interior. I always thought it was a great piece of modern glass in keeping with the Georgian building
I too love churches & this is a beauty, even the name of it makes me want to explore !! You certainly have a good eye for composition, that pianist at the front is perfection !
Beautiful shot! At first I wondered why you were playing around with the glass in the window, but then decided it was meant to be that way for the cross- but was it originally like that? That would have been quite avant garde for a church built during the time of Henry VIII.
