Got tired of making the attempt at what I would have like to achieved with the full moon. I was having a red hot go. Would like to ask, what was I meant to set my camera at? Any suggestions would be appreciated
The only thing I did differently was I had m ISO at 200. But your settings look fine to me. Maybe tweak the saturation, brightness and contrast in post processing just slightly? Other than that I think you did a great job! And there's a lot of detail after the contrast tweak(I tried it!)
@dishaparekh176 Thanks Disha, I thought it might have been the ISO, did lots of shots with different combinations. Will try some post processing & see how it turns out
I had my ISO way too high for the first gazillion shots. Last night was really my first attempts at night, so I was tweaking settings just to see what would happen.
@nikkic Thanks Nikki, I did go & have a look & did so after I uploaded my first set of shots. Got totally confused with it as there is so many combinatons . Just another challenge we have on our list, I guess
@allisonrap Thanks Allison, if I was closer to the big ball I would have got the detail I wanted is what is the bother, I think. When I bumped the ISO up it was too bright. Will keep trying though
Hey Wendy, I think you did an awesome job but if your looking for some tips there is a discussion thread called shoot the moon that you might want to look at. (sorry I don't know how to link to a thread!) I used a tripod, mirror lock up and exposure bracketing for my shot but I still didn't capture the detail I'd like to! I guess persistence is the key!!!
