The Last Rose Of Summer. by wendyfrost

The Last Rose Of Summer.

I think this will be the last rose in my garden this year. It opened from a tiny bud yesterday to wide open today and. I think tomorrow it well be over.

Sorry if I haven't got round to commenting on your photos this week I have been trying but my hands and fingers are playing up again and have been very painful.
Ooh Wendy , such a delightful capture of this beautiful red rose - Love the velvety texture of the petals and the powdery sprinkle of the pollen . fav

This is beautiful- it looks like it has been dusted with sugar. I do hope your hands and fingers improve- mine have been bothering me this week as well. It must be all the moisture in the atmosphere from hurricane season.
