Sundew or Drosera is a carnivorous plant which traps its prey on its sticky leaves mostly small insects making them ideal for catching fruit flies.
I have had this plant for a year now and when the weather is good I put it and my Venus flytrap outside on the doorstep in the warm sun. They seem to be thriving well perhaps because I occasionally talk to them.
So beautiful in the light and with the dark background! The spikes and droplets just glisten! Fav! (This is sure a new one for me. I agree with Beryl- keep talking to it, Wendy! :-)
