The Lonely Anzac. by wendyfrost

The Lonely Anzac.

April word-Anzac.
The resting place of The Lonely Anzac Sgt. Thomas Peterborough. Every year there is a service at the graveside and the Mayor lays a wreath at the grave of this Anzac who was taken off the train as it passed through Peterborough he then sadly died in hospital and was buried here in this cemetery.
It is said that his ghost has been seen many times in the building which is now a museum.
Photographed from the computer of last years service.
An interesting but poignant story, Wendy. (I cannot allow ghosts in my repertoire....)

How wonderful Peterborough remembers our ANZACS and your country joins in the services. We are all but one. Thanks from an Aussie. Fav
