Year two 260 - bug week - fly

This was taken at Hodbarrow nature reserve earlier in the month.
The yellow on the eyes and wings are not something I have seen before.

Three good things today:
1. It didn't rain while I did my walk from the park and ride to home.
2. Comfort food for tea
3. Tabby was so hungry she gobbled up her first antibiotic!
Awesome focus Al.

ooh, you were lucky with Tabby! With our cat we have to first catch her. Then its a towel wrapped round then a furious fight to open her mouth dodging those nasty sharp teeth! Crikey - we just have to keep her healthy! Weird fly I'd have to say but good photo!

Excellent detail Al. You really must visit Lindisfarne, it's quite magical. I keep going back to the pics I took! They even do photographic courses there - I think I'll put it on my Christmas list!
