Tea and coffee still life

This is for my third challenge on my photoshop artistry course.
For the challenges there are mandatory things that you have to do. For this I had to take a photograph of something in my home, incorporate two textures from a given set of them, incorporate a grunge edge file which came as a three layer png file, use a brush which puts text on, give the image a vignette and finally ....... make sure that I used marquee offset layers! I like them now that I know what they are!

It was also fun to set up the original photograph. I wanted to make sure that it needed either no cropping or very little and I had to think about where I wanted to put things. I also wanted the lighting to taper off too.

Three good things today:
1. It rained so I had to rest up which was very much needed after a busy day yesterday. (shopping and bulk cooking!)
2. Feeling confident enough to do another of the challenges on my photoshop artistry course. There are 26 in total.
3. Celebrating with a nice glass of vodka!
Well Al you have way passed me in the photography art. You romp on & I am using my iPhone lots now instead of the camera so have gone downhill! I was a,ways more of an everyday diary photographer & I do find my iPhone very handy. I admire your commitment so mush! Great job here!

@happypat I use my Samsung galaxy all the time. So much so that I rarely keep a camera on me all the time like I used to. I love art and this course is just perfect for me.
I think people like you who do the diary photography are far more committed!!! I just can't do the photo a day even with my phone! lol :)
