The Violinist

Used some photo's that I took with my phone in Manchester to do a bit of creating. Used the techniques that were in my last couple of tutorials on my photoshop artistry course. Remembered more than I thought as I didn't need to refer to my notes!

I feel as if I am starting to "feel" photoshop now. I am using the shortcut keys without thinking and adjustment layers make so much difference to the overall look. Not sure this violinist would have approved of me giving him a new face though!

Halloween is going to be a memorable one this year as it is the end of one era and the start of a whole new one for me. After 36 years I am finishing work which will hopefully help with my health. Halloween will be my last day.
It may mean that I get to spend a bit more time on here and who knows .... I may well come back here properly!

Three good things today:
1. Loving my course and really like this creation!
2. Made a start on clearing out 36 years worth of hoarding at work!
3. Being given what feels like the chance of a lifetime. Not many people get to finish work at 53!
This is so creative!

You must be young to remember all the shortcuts - or you have wisely written them down! Lots of interesting scenario's ahead of you and I like your "blind' violinist!

Creative and clever work, my twin. You seem to have got the hang of all this stuff really quickly but I guess there's been lots of practice involved, even so.
Have a wonderful retirement! I'm reliably informed by several people that you'll soon be wondering how on earth you ever found time to go to work, though. :-D

@maggiemae I have cheat sheets but didn't need them for the first time!
@dulciknit I do a lot of playing about until I feel comfortable enough to created something. I am still on the basics yet! then next module is the hard er stuff! :)

@willowdragon If this is the basics I dread to think what my skill level would be classed as, LOL!
