Pot-tea

One thing I am still getting used to is being able to spend days during the week with Jo! With her working shifts, she has always had days off which we could never spend together. Today, we did some shopping and had lunch out at a garden centre.

This is an exercise from my AWAKE course .... and its a lot harder than it sounds. Effectively its a "speed" exercise. Its something that I will be trying to do every day. You just throw a photo onto a blank canvas .... then chose a texture or a photo to use as a texture ...... then repeat that at least once more ....... then you give yourself 15 minutes to move things around, change blending modes, add filters and at the end of the time, you see what you have!
The first two I did were very weird and a bit trippy ..... but this one came together a lot easier. It did take a little more than 15 minutes though!

Three good things today:
1. Being able to spend time with Jo when she is off work.
2. Using only my own photographs in todays speed exercise! I do have photo's to use as textures .... I just need to look outside of the box.
3. Booked a couple of days away for later in the year. Well outside of our normal type of thing as well!!! It's good to have a change ...... I think ......
This sounds like a fun and interesting "speed" exercise, and your pic is a beautiful result for it! fav!
