Just this - right now

It wasn't raining today so I got myself out for a hour at the little nature reserve. Gave my new lens another test ...... I love it!
While I was there I did another of my assignments for session 1 of my AWAKE course.
This composition is for that assignment.

You see squirrels all the time at Longton Brickcroft so I just watched it jumping about. When I didn't move ..... it just stopped and started watching me back. It was so settled that I decided to take some photo's of it watching me. This was my first photo ..... I took a couple more from different angles moving really slowly so that it wasn't startled.

Three good things today:
1. Getting out! I so needed some fresh air without getting wet!
2. I LOVE my new lens. It is still quite weighty .... but less heavy than my sigma was.
3. Doing far better with my bird photography with this lens! The image stabilisation works so well with me preferring to hand hold.
Very cute shot, Al.
