colosseum

Well we are back after 4 wonderful weeks away in Italy & the UK...alas the ability to upload photo's was not an option so please forgive me for posting multiple photo's to catch up. I will spread them out over time but they will be ones that were taken on the appropriate days although the exif info may say otherwise as I didn't change the camera time setting & it was still on Western Australian time.

After meeting up with our tour group last night we spent our first day together on the bus. The Colosseum was an amazing experience...it was so hot but that didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves.

Welcome back. Hope you enjoyed your time away. I was there back in 1997 and one thing I remember was the number of stray cats at this site.
You've captured it beautifully!!

@jdonnelly @pyrrhula @bdb3471 & @orangecrush thanks we had such a wonderful time & never spotted even one stray cat so they must have fixed that problem, in fact we never really saw any cats roaming around in Italy!
