The Old Marina, Wolf Creek, Elberta, Alabama

Just because you’ve
Seen a few years
Weathered a few storms
Felt the paint peel
And the foundations buckle
Doesn’t mean
You aren’t still beautiful

Just posted fill-ins from yesterday on 2/17 and 2/18. Same bird. Pretty interesting.
Love, love, LOVE this!

Fantastic shot, the "hard" mirror like surface of the water with the reflections and then that misty haze framing it....brilliant!

Yes, I agree...I like the reflection with both the cabin and the trees. I also like your words. I will try to remember that.

Thank y'all so much. I made it about 7 this morning. By the time I switched to the 20mm the fog was dissipating a little. It's always calm there. Beautiful spot about a mile from my house. Btw, this property is for sale. 5.9 acres, lots of waterfront.

I love this. The water looks so peaceful, almost glass. The reflections and the old building with peeling (but still vibrant) paint make for such a beautiful combination.

Wonderful. Love the sense of calm and isolation. Need a little of that these days. smile.

Erie. At least to me. Crazy how the reflection of the shack is pretty much devoid of color, but the tree reflections are still full of life!
