This is the end of my 365 project!
First of all I want to thank all the people who supported me commenting
and fav'ing my pictures, and inspiring and teaching me lots of things
with teh own work.
Before I bore you trying to give a rundown of the last year or so, I
this is my flickr account where I'll probably hang out in the future
http://www.flickr.com/photos/zinosat71/
Around April 2011 I decided I wanted to know a bit about photography:
every now and then I managed to get a picture that was so much better
than the others, and I had to learn the secret behind it. Started
reading some articles on the web and finally understood most of the
functions of my simple P&S camera. A few months and upgraded to the
Canon G12 P&S. Stumbled into the 365 website and got really curious
about that: I think it was around June 2011 and thought it was too
much for me shooting a decent picture every day for an entire year,
but I loved the idea. I tried to shoot everyday during the summer, and
kept on playing with the idea of joining 365; on October 1st got a
picture wich I liked (my 1/365 image) and finally joined the project.
I still remember waking up and grabbing my camera before going out for
work: it felt odd the first couple of weeks, but it became natural
quite soon after. It was fun: a bit tough but fun. December 2011 I
decided to try to follow the "community" and joined one of
@alia_801
challenges: I thorougly enjoyed it and got me to know lots of new
people. Between January and April 2012 it went so smooth and it was so
much fun: I decided I had to purchase my first DSLR, wich happened in
May. My daily schedule became much worse, the new camera is too big
and heavy to be carried at work every day and stopped taking the G12
with me... a disaster!
I also have to admit that buying a DSLR did not make any magic happen
and got me a bit demotivated and so I got here to the end shooting
during the weekends and uploading lots of fillers...
I'm more than convinced that 365 is an incredible experience and
everyone should try it!!!
What next? I think I'll start a 52 project wich should fit better with
my schedule and should hopefully let me concentrate on filling my many
gaps.
Again, THANX SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
I failed at that: had to choose and went for spending more of my limited spare time time on taking and editing my photos...
Believe it or not, I never felt too confident here because of that
Beautiful sunset with your silhouette BTW!
hope you will stick around.
wishing you all the best. Take care..xx
Will you be posting your 52 project on here? I don't have a Flickr account yet... will sure look for you once I get one. I'm keeping my 365 project but will just post from time to time.
Cheers, man! xxx
I actually do miss 365 alot but I haven't fully recovered from it yet.) I'm not on Facebook but I'm about to start a 52 project on Flickr... let's see how it goes. here's a link to my flickr account http://www.flickr.com/photos/zinosat71/
