I caught this bird shaking itself dry after bathing in an ornamental fountain. Blue tit I think (or maybe great tit; I'm no expert) but whatever variety it is, I just love the expression on its face.
Beautiful picture - love his ruffled feathers - looks like he's enjoying his bath - very endearing photo - you've captured it so well - birds are so fleeting, there one minute then gone the next. Well done, it's a great shot.
Be easier if he hadn't given himself such a dunking, but my bet is on Blue Tit as the bandanna doesn't meet the toupe - pardon the technical terms. It's a beautifully timed shot though a real 'good un'.
