Musical Dovecote

We have all heard of Tin Pan Alley, where the music was made, but here is a rusty iron music studio called The Dovecote - one of the studios in the Snape concert hall complex in Suffolk.

The building was prefabricated and lifted by crane into the ruins of an existing building in keeping with the 'old and new' redevelopment of the site.
Ooh, very cool! I love the way it was built into the old ruins!

I find it amazing that they were able to set the new down inside the old. They must have taken accurate measurements. Good composition on this shot!
