I find this quite thought provoking. Many markets have dwindled in size and sadly some have closed altogether over the years, probably largely because of supermarkets, yet whenever you see an ailing market the greengrocery stall is still thriving. The one on Wendover market has actually expanded considerably in recent years. Probably because the produce is fresher, better tasting and better value for money than anything you can buy in Tesco's. Long live the market greengrocers!
