Analogue girls

We joined the film club! After being bullied by @chewyteeth, I told a random man in his 50's* that I was interested in photography and lo and behold, he got two old SLR cameras out from the loft and said I was welcome to them. Me and Lisa have got one each and we are going to play with them next week. Any help welcome :D

Advice:
-expired film on ebay, avoid anything with the word lomo in
-Watch the tricky rewind button on the olympus don't rip the film like I did
-Do a search on the Asda website for your nearest one which develops film, it seems to be the cheapest option at £2 a roll developed and scanned to CD.
-Generally I shoot film on av set to a max f stop but thats up to you guys to work out, and I shoot mainly portraits anyway
-also get your batteries for the light meters off ebay
-never use a shop called 'Jessops' which is actually Iranian and means 'bad customer service and bad price.'

@chewyteeth They are A Fujica ST 705 (fully manual) and a OM20 (half-automatic)

@traeumerlein87 ace, you'll have loads of fun shooting film, but probably you've done it before?? The mystery of the shot, the effects outside of your control, the detail and focus. Super. Do they both have 50mm lenses? Just becareful for the first time loading, and rewinding them.

@chewyteeth I haven't done it before. The om20 has a 35-105 lens, the fujica 50. We will see how we cope, haha. Thanks for all your tips (:
