Although I whinge about my job from time to time, really I am very lucky and I do get to do very cool stuff. Today, between 3pm and 8pm I was allowed to hang around a place very few people get to hang around - the very VERY top of the Gherkin (and I mean the top - check this out http://instagr.am/p/KIRC8YgiW_/
I was armed with a Huge Canon EOS 5D and massive 24-105mm lens, and was tasked with taking pictures of an event (both the set-up and the event itself) which was being held on the 40th floor. It was ace. I got to play with a really fancy camera, see INCREDIBLE views, eat teeny tiny mini hamburgers, drink champagne and see how the other half live.
At the moment i only have access to my iPhone shots, because I don't have a card reader for the proper big DSLR. But there will be more tomorrow.

Wow! Incredible! Sounds like you had a brilliant day. Fav obv :o) As for the top 5 comment, at least Ross took the time and you know your shots are worthy of the recognition xx
You shouldn't have even considered having fun without making sure your image file data wasn't in order. In future do not even smile without displaying your full exchangable data else you will be made to stand in the naughty corner.
Fabulous shot! My brother lived in London for 4 years and I'm still kicking myself for not getting out there to visit him. Looks like you captured the whole city!
