Chinese Proverb

Eggs do not fight against rocks – a Chinese proverb well used by strategists.
I learned Manual Focusing in Live View Mode in the recent camera setting challenge 33. The egg shell is in better focus than autofocus. A very useful setting in Nikon D7000.
Just goes to show! Cameras don't know everything! This is a nice touch!

I've faved this. It looks really cool. A simple object and a clever idea make this look fantastic.

Beautiful work with focus. I think what I like best about this shot is the contrast of the egg to the rock. The rock looks smooth whereas the egg looks rough- and it should be the other way around! Excellent picture!

brilliant focus.....now you will force me to learn something new as well and make my head hurt yet again....gak!

我老用不好m档,虽然有表尺,照出来效果也不好

This is an absolute delight....too bad you couldn't show a chicken sticking it's head out! Great composition, Yao!

Lovely composition.

A wondeful depiction of the proverb. I love the detail and colour of the egg contrasted by the soft focus of the rocks Well done!

Very well done.

That focus is fantastic. I haven't tried live view mode but do use the manual focus when the lens goes crazy. Love how the light is shining thru the cracks.

Beautiful! Focus is indeed great, love to see all those little cracks on the eggshell.
