@tracie8266 It is in center Wellington, this is one side of the Opera House. It is the last week of the International Art Festival and many great shows running here. I just come back from the show An Iliad, based on Homer’s epic poem. Amazing!
@yaorenliu this sounds fascinating ..how was it interpreted/presented?….The Iliad was a main focus of study for mine at uni….love the star..( and I fought the urge to joke they were singing the blues at the opera house…:))) )
@ianrm You are a brave man to have studied this massive intimidating book
It is a one man show by Denis O’Hare, acting as a storyteller about the tragedy of Trojan War. He injected the reference to every single bloody war in the planet (imaging how fast he has to recite) and destruction of great cities from Babylon to Dresden to Hiroshima.
The show also has a double bass player improvising with it.
Love the side of the Opera house and the blue star!
Great pov and find.
