Les Misérables by yaorenliu

Les Misérables

This was taken yesterday when people were waiting for the Royals to appear – definitely not a fun activity.
Brilliant shot! But yes, looks like a lot of tedious wait

They look like they were placed there and posing just for you. I don't blame them for their miserable faces, it was raining after all.

Such a great shot! It's so funny how everyone looks distressed.

This is such an odd scene. Reminds me of the Laugh In wall on the 1970s TV show. Some popping out of round holes, others funny hats looking like Kilroy.

What a unique composition! Heads in hands and this odd timber fence!

LOL You are something, Yao.. LOL The title is just hilarious.

That's brilliant. Nice complete picture here. I read a National Geographic photographer's quote once that said something like, when shooting a sunset, be sure to turn around and look at the surroundings and notice the light that is playing on the hills, and trees behind you. Don't miss the entire picture was the message.

Here you captured the moment with great power and clarity of the Royals, but also the anticipation, anxiety, and stress of the crowd in waiting. The whole picture.
