sooc is hard

Tuesday 10th - SOOC (straight out of camera) .
It is so hard to control my hands not even touching the crop function.
I like this under-exposed version - no over-exposed. Isn't it confusing?
looks like an interesting challenge :) i cannot remember when was last time i did SOOC...

This is stunning -- beautiful soft color tones and focus. Very cool for SOOC.

Magical impression of the flower!

It is tough! You pulled it off tho! This is beautiful!

Terrific! Is it a lens baby shot? Or did you create this just by using a reasonably shallow DOF?

Great shot, love the focus :)

Beautiful and shows even better when enlarged on black. Fav.

@whimsicalgrateful Thank you, I do not have lens baby, I would love to have one. This is pure shallow DOF.

@kali66 I thought flowers suit for SOOC, they are beautiful enough without the editing,

nice! 😊

Nice use if DOF as you said we can appreciate the beauty of that

Gorgeous. I was debating with myself earlier whether a cropped photo would still qualify as Sooc I decided it wasn't but it should be

@carla42 Henri Cartier-Bresson never crop his photo, it always check the four corners, so I decided sooc include no cropping. We are lucky that we are not using films, so I can select the best composition, still cheating - haha

Very nicely done! I know we share passion for street photography. Have you seen work by NY street photographer Jay Maisel? He also very rarely crops. HCB and Jay are my two all-time favorite photographers I admire.

@dbj I googled Jay Maisel, exciting, I should find a book about his works.
