It is very hard to play the simple notes with no vibrato. I am after the pure and innocent sound - it is harder than playing double stopping.

Super shot... what a sad inspiration. I just listened to it and it is full of sadness and beauty. I never played the violin but I can imagine it must be very difficult to nail down...
@kali66 it is cello and the music is adjusted for cello and piano.It is sometimes sad and sometimes angry. A very colourful piece. I really enjoy playing it.
@kerosene Thank you. I am playing the adaptation for cello and there is no recording in YouTube, the version posted for violin and viola are terribly played.
