Top-down driving on a cool, May evening to help celebrate our anniversary and a fun Memorial Day weekend. The park next to the Dairy Corner was so calm as we drove by. The sun was almost gone for the day and for one moment everything seemed at peace with the world...
NOTE from 06/07/17: You know you'd do anything to get the perfect photo, right? Well, when we got to the park, it was closed so I crawled under the gate blocking the entrance then whipped up really fast so I wouldn't fall. Not a very good maneuver but I had to get the flag shot! That's when I did it. I felt it happen. Thought I pulled or tore a muscle but turns out I cracked a rib instead. Sigh. It'll take about 8 weeks to heal but the flag photo will last forever.
