My friend Ann volunteers for Hospice. Stores donate flowers then the volunteers make up vases for the patients' rooms. They often get way too many donated so Hospice will take the extras and put them in buckets near the front doors for family members, volunteers and nurses to take home. Whenever I go over Ann's she has beautiful flowers that make me think of my sister Bun who Hospice helped almost 30 years ago.
