October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In honor of my sister Bun who died of breast cancer at the age of 28 in 1989, I am doing “Think Pink” where my posts in October will all be pink. I think about my little sister everyday and wonder what our lives would have been like had she not died so young.😢 I am dedicating my October to her. 💖
I met Michelle for lunch today at the Silver Spring House. They are doing a big Breast Cancer Awareness event for the whole month of October. They've gone ALL PINK including their building and the parking lot lines. The money goes to the Pink Ribbon Girls and the American Cancer Society of Ohio. I need to go back and buy some raffle tickets and a t-shirt to support the cause! 💕 I asked if they were going to keep the building pink but they said they will paint it yellow again after October is over. Darn...I think it looks good in pink. 😃
