When I first moved to town, Natorp's was the place to go for plants, landscaping and garden supplies. There were locations all over town and but it seemed like a pricey place. Fast forward 38 years to this week when I was looking for a good price on mums. My neighbor told me Natorp's was the place to go but I could only find one location up north.
HOLY MOLY they sure changed their business plan. It was a HUGE place that looked like a giant greenhouse. Lots and lots of parking and the largest array of plants I'd ever seen. Prices were great and I had a field day stocking up on Fall foliage for our yard.
After I got the car loaded, I stepped back in amazement. I thought $66 for a carload of flowers was a good deal.
