Thank you all for your support and comments (and favs) on yesterday's hawk. I appreciated that you were all excited for me. It means so very much.
My husband and I are taking a "birding for beginners" class tonight.
When I left our nature centre this morning after my "birding and breakfast" outing, I actually pulled over on the road when I saw this cute little yellow guy on the wire. Maybe soon I'll be able to identify some of these birds I have been able to find.
Yvonne if you dont mind a little constructive critique..I would have cropped this a bit more and left him in the upper 1/3 of the picture..go online and check out the rule of thirdss it has improved my photography trememdously!! :)

I googled both the kingbird and the mourning warbler and I think maybe the mourning warbler, but not positive. @ellimae Ellen, Thanks so very much. I definitely appreciate the critique. That's why I'm here--I want to learn. I have been working on the rule of thirds, but I guess I didn't crop quite enough. Appreciate your comments, the Fav and your input. Will go on-line and read some more. @nanalisarocks Thanks, Lisa. @myautofocuslife Thanks, Livia. It was fun. @annbo Thanks, Ann. Always appreciate your comments.
