dark corners

I was wondering whether to take out the cigarette and dirt, but decided not to. It adds something... texture or depth. Or maybe just a wee bit of reality ;-)

I think the cigarette ads to the photo :)

Very cool shot! I think you could have gone either way with the cigarette and dirt. This version says something different than the 'cleaned up' version would have said. I really like it.

Great shot. Simple and yet very intersting and nice looking.

Great one. It's good that you didn't change. After all it was the completeness of that corner that caught your eyes in the first place.

it's perfect the way it is. Great shot!

As much as I hate to see those things--it does add a bit of a focal point. Even without it though, this would be a really nice shot.

Nah, the cigarette is perfect. Adds a contemporary touch to the ancient looking architecture. It's a cool pic either way.

Lovely composition and texture. Interesting choice on leaving the butt in, feels like it changes it from a straight art shot into a statement - I find it a little distracting for the image in its own right, but it says something about society, I think.

I do like the cigarette there... adds a gritty feel. I like it when you notice little details...
