Light on the hills

Our clocks changed at the weekend, and it's now getting dark earlier. I took this just before the sun went down last night, and minutes before a rainbow appeared. Unfortunately I just didn't get a good shot of the rainbow

Lovely - did you consider cropping off the shadows at the bottom of the image to make it more of a letterbox shape?

@dide I did crop the bottom a bit, but I rather liked the tree trunk, although now I think you're right

Great lighting. I'm sort of glad daylight saving is over. Sunset and the nice light comes that much earlier now:)

I was driving last night south on SH1 and saw the rainbows - there were 2! But couldn't really stop to get a good shot.
