This old typewriter was in the old house at Woodlands. Too late for the macro keyboard challenge, but I rather liked it anyway. I learned to type on a machine not dissimilar to this, after taking a job as a typesetter using the Berthold system (pre mac and pc's!)
Yes I remember those typewriter keys too well - what nailbreakers they were! Did you have to practice using your fingers under the wooden thing that fit over the keys so you couldn't peek? Great shot and very cool to see the dust and rust! I much prefer my MacBook keyboard these days. Fav.
