Otherwise known as Mt Doom from Lord of the Rings. Finally got to do the Crossing, although not the easy way. We were fortunate enough to walk with a mountain rescue mam, who took us off piste away from the Hoi polloi. Took 10.5 hours, even included rock climbing, and absolutely stunning views
