Autumn Leaves

On the North Island of NZ, we don't tend to get the great array of autumnal colours as in the UK or even in the South Island. However I did spot this tree of truly autumnal colours today. I think it might be a liquid amber - but don't hold me to that

It seems to need the cold to give autumn colours to trees. Arrowtown is the best example. Masses of trees just this lovely colour as it is here!
