Very nice shot. When you say macro conversion lens, do you mean the kind that go between camera and lens? Or the filters that screw onto the threaded filter ring.
@mbrutus I use a Nikon P900 which isn't a DSLR, so you can't unscrew the lens. I found this converter lens which attaches to the existing one, just the way your lens cap fits on. It's a make do for me, until I get the Nikon DSLR, I really want
Which Nikon is that? Your P900 is doing very nicely in the meantime as are your closeup filters. Quite nicely indeed. I have a point and shoot that I carry all the time because of its relatively small size. An online store was having a sale on the closeup filters, but they only had one size. Luckily it the size required by my point and shoot. I love the results I get with them. They improved my closeups dramatically. I love them. And they're so much easier to carry around than a second lens would be. Though I've misplace the plastic case they came with.
@mbrutus I started out with a point and shoot, which is great for carrying around for on the off chance. Then a friend bought the Nikon p900 and I was so impressed with the zoom that I bought one too. Still love it, but I'm now aspiring to a real DSLR, was looking At Nikon 7200, but now I see 7500 is being released. Hmm what now?
