Kapa Haka Group

I attended the citizenship ceremony today to witness @alinz becoming a kiwi. Unlike at my ceremony a kapa haka group performed first. Unfortunately the venue was badly lit, and I was near the back, so I did't get any great photos.
Still a great shot and ritual. It must be a very proud moment.

Nice capture of the dance. Are they any relation to the Maori tribe. Their costumes are very similar to those we saw when we visited New Zealand.

@henrir yes, they are maoris. Kapa haka is the term for Māori performing arts and literally means to form a line (kapa) and dance (haka
