Sunrise from the ferry

This morning, on a whim, I got up at 5am and hitched a ride with my husband to Auckland - he had meetings there all day. At that time the traffic wasn't too bad, so I hopped on to a ferry at 7.15am to Waiheke Island and just caught the sunrise

@julzmaioro in hindsight, I should have! Walked past Cable bay during my 21km of walking. Got a blister on my heel, so bought some cheap thongs and lost the skin between my toes by the time I got back to Parnell. On the plus side, i smell nice after stopping off at the Jo Malone store at Britomart

Ah - now there’s your first mistake.... if you’d stopped at Cable Bay you might not have got blisters!
