Such a boring collective name for turkeys. This lot remind me of judges, so perhaps it should be a court of turkey's or a judgement of turkeys. This flock are becoming regular visitors, as the development in the area is forcing them out of their usual haunts. I normally see them in the paddock, but today they'd jumped the fence and were right up to the deck
A nice capture! Fav. Poor wild life...I feel bad when housing and development encroaches on a natural habitat. My son bought a new house and they keep finding rattlesnakes around their house. The boys asked why they were coming to the house...but the answer is the house was built where they were living.
@yorkshirekiwi I agree with you! I wouldn't want a rattler around a 6,5 and 2 year old boys! I hear the venom antidote is very expensive too...over $100,000! Yikes!
