Preying Mantis

I'd only been thinking yesterday that I hadn't seen any preying mantis this year. Then today I found one. He'd been hanging out on the dying hydrangea's so was wearing his brown colouring to blend in. I have to confess to encouraging him to sit on the blue part of the bush.
