When I was out with the weed whacker the other day, I flushed a turkey out of the brambles. Further inspection revealed 7 eggs. I hadn't the heart to destroy her hiding place, so backed off. Glad to see her back there, although I do complain about the turkeys coming onto our property and pooping everywhere!
