Hmm not sure if this is a cheat or not. I'm trying to do the word list in order. I spent most of the day on my bike, looking in vain for poppies. I confidently went to the war memorial in our town, as there have been poppies there for ages. All gone, replanted with summer flowers. So, I went down to the railway where I had photographed a poppy 4 days ago. Would you believe it, there were only a few ragged seed pods left. So, this was actually taken on the 1st.
So great that you are able to get a true poppy shot ... ours are long gone now! love the one little drooping head.
This is definitely not a cheat - and I will sometimes take a photo when I know that I will need it later. You gotta grab them when they are available rather than not have them on the proper day!
