The local shopping Mall has it's decorations up already. Bah Humbug! I've lived in NZ for 20 years now, but I still haven't got used to having Christmas in the summer

I have a mate who is going away for Christmas. I asked him where he was going expecting him to say some snowy Christmassy destination and he said Corfu. I just don't get it. I'd be in a log cabin surrounded by snow ☺☺ Nice Decs though ☺

I got used to Christmas being in summer very quickly when we came to Australia almost 30 years ago but Easter in autumn still catches me out
