Looking at the macro challenge, got me thinking about music. There are no musical instruments in our house, but we listen to a lot. These days mostly digital downloads. I can remember buying my first CD back in 1985, Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms. It was the default demo disc for selling CD players, when I worked in electrical retail too. I'm not sure if this is the original CD, or a new copy
A cool song ,but for me has sad memories , our dearest friends son aged 12yrs was killed on the way to school and this was selected by all the children at his school
This album has memories for me too ...... I remember buying the LP & taping some of the tracks & sending the tape to my boyfriend (now husband) while he was serving in the Army based in the Falkland Islands just after the Falklands War... early 1985.
