Actually the rail is on a wooden jetty.
The breaking waves were directly beneath me and I had to keep half an eye on where the rails were and mind I didn't slip on the very wet wooden boards. For this shot I turned my back on the sea to show it that I was not intimidated!
However I completely failed to capture the drama!
