Storm watch

The tail end of the storm but few people were venturing out. Up there on the edge of the castle grounds I met one other person .. we were finding it a challenge to stand upright. Fortunately the castle wall remained solid and helped me get the shot
Superb composition

@summerfield Thanks Vikki... not much dedication involved as I get such a high from doing it! I purchased the camera with storm conditions in mind. Camera and lens are rugged and well weather sealed and the glass has a large hood to keep most of the rain off the lens. So I let it get wet and dry it off as soon as I've finished the shoot.

When the clouds release their grasp but the wind still rules. I can almost hear the wind howl. Most excellent. FAV!

It rather looks as though the waves would encroach on anyone daring to sit on that bench. You filled this with atmosphere (who needs colour?).

I've enjoyed viewing your storm series, the images capture the 'feel' of the storm really well, particularly the effect of the long exposures on the appearance the waves.
